Josiah Jenkins has experience defending California employers of all sizes and across a wide range of industries in employment law matters. His practice focuses on advocating for the interests of these employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistleblower, and wage and hour claims from pre-claim investigation through all phases of litigation. Josiah is experienced in counseling clients through administrative proceedings before State and Federal agencies and in representing clients in State and Federal courts. In addition to his experience as an employment litigator, Josiah brings the knowledge of years of experience conducting workplace investigations on behalf of leading institutions in the Higher Education and Healthcare industries.

Prior to joining Bartko, Josiah honed his skills at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, The University of California Los Angeles, and Goldman & Ehrlich.

Josiah has unique experience gained from his appearance on several game shows (including a winning performance on iWitness and a runner-up performance on Jeopardy!) and as a comedy improv performer, which have enhanced his acute powers of observation, excellent timing, and overall presence in front of an audience. Josiah hails from Rugby, North Dakota (which is the geographical center of North America).
