Raman Dheri has extensive experience defending California employers of all sizes and across a wide range of industries in employment law matters. Her practice focuses on advocating for the interests of these employers in discrimination, disability, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, employee misclassification, and PAGA claims from pre-claim investigation through all phases of litigation. She is experienced in counseling clients through administrative proceedings before State and Federal agencies as well as in representing clients in State and Federal courts.

Raman has experience in remediating compliance issues, including drafting and revising handbooks, employment policies, employment contracts, arbitration agreements, and severance agreements.  She also has experience in labor negotiations, serving as an assistant negotiator for collective bargaining agreements.   

Prior to joining Bartko, Raman honed her skills at Littler Mendelson, P.C., defending employers against state and federal lawsuits and ensuring national compliance with Federal and State labor and employment regulations.  In law school, Raman externed for the Massachusetts Attorney General, Fair Labor Division and served as a law clerk at the US Attorney, Northern District of California. 

Raman is fluent in Punjabi and can even play a few classical Indian instruments. She enjoys spending her free time playing The Legend of Zelda and baking for her friends and family.
