BartkoZankel Adds Patent Litigator Paul Schuck
March 1, 2013. The firm has expanded its IP litigation strength with the addition of Paul Schuck, who joins the firm as a Principal. Paul comes over from Irvine-based Thomas Whitelaw, where he managed their San Francisco office IP litigation practice, and previously he was at Schiff Hardin. Paul is highly experienced in patent, trade secret, and licensing trials in the biotech, telecommunications, medical imaging, mechanical engineering, automotive/aerospace and sports industries. Paul has degrees from Yale (BA), University of Wisconsin (MA), and University of Michigan (JD). Joining the firm with Paul is patent specialist Sony Barari, who also comes over from Thomas Whitelaw and earlier Schiff Hardin, and joins the firm as an associate. Sony is admitted to the USPTO patent bar, and a graduate of UCLA (BS in molecular biology) and William and Mary (JD). Paul and Sony add depth to and complement the Bartko IP practice group.
